Description

• After the installation of the SHARK-NIR at the LBT platform, the science detector is tested for all its read-out modes, windowing possibilities. Also, some of the calibration scripts are rechecked.

Prerequisites

• SCICAM cooled down.

Procedure

• Repeat the science calibrations below (some of these are performed when SHARK-NIR was in the LBT cleanroom. Check P1.9) for details.

SDC2	Instrument flat field, detector linearity and bad pixels
SDC3	Wavelength calibration
SDC4	Thermal background
SDC5	Detector gain
SDC6	Detector persistence
SDC7	Spectral resolution
SDC8	Ghost calibration

Success criteria

• All calibrations successfully tested.
• All the read-out modes and windowing possibilities of the SCICAM are tested successfully.
• All relevant information (files) are saved in the repository.

Notes

• The time dedicated to this activity has to be considered in combination with other activities. Parallelism is possible.
