- Phase : 2
- Status : Draft
- Category : Daytime testing (functionality and operability) (C2)
- Recurrence : after instrument installation at telescope platform
- Duration : 2 hour(s)
Description
- Proper working of the SOUL AO system is essential for the performance of the SHARK-NIR instrument. We test the working of the SOUL AO system looking at the on-axis PSF (RR) with known disturbances running on the ASM. Also, we test the working of the new features - the waffle mode and inserting a static disturbance to the ASM.

- Acceptable improvement of the on-axis PSF (RR) while SOUL AO is closed with known disturbances.
- Get a new and improved daytime telescope model for SHARK-NIR, if necessary.
- Successfully running the waffle mode and setting a static shape on the ASM.
