    99**Description**
10 - Proper working of the SOUL AO system is essential for the performance of the SHARK-NIR instrument. Arcetri team optimizes the SOUL AO system grabbing the PSF image from the SHARK-NIR SCICAM. The on-axis light source could be the Argos swing arm calibration light source, or one mounted on RR may be used (second choice only).
10- At the beginning of the next run, the cryostat is cooled down and the science detector calibrations are performed (when at the telescope).

    1212**Prerequisites**
13 - SHARK-NIR is active and working normally.
14 - Cryostat cold and SCICAM working properly.
    15 - Activity [wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/P1.12 P1.12] success criteria met.
16 - Telescope pointed to Zenith and permission to use the Argos swing arm calibration unit.

    1815**Procedure**
19 - AO optimization procedure comes here
16- For the cryostat cool down, follow P1.4 and P1.5
17- For science detector calibrations follow P1.7

    2321**Success criteria**
24 - SOUL AO system is working in tandem with the SHARK-NIR system.
25 - Acceptable improvement of the on-axis PSF (Argos Swing arm calibration light source) while SOUL AO is closed with known disturbances.
26 - If necessary, get a new and improved daytime telescope model for SHARK-NIR.
     22- Cryostat cooled down.
     23- SHARK-NIR working normally.
24- Science calibrations are performed and new values are saved.
    2725
    2826**Notes**
27- Support from the Steward Observatory detector team.
    2928
    3029**LBTO support**
31 - Authorize SHARK-NIR on the SX side.
32 - Authorize mode to use the Argos Swing Arm. RR will be required on the SX side, if not the Argos swing arm.
    33 - AO support.
30- Follow P1.4 and P1.5 (for the cryostat cool down)
