P2.0 SHARK-NIR Open Cart Activities

Description

• All activities to be done on the SHARK-NIR optical bench with the cart open.

Prerequisites

• electronics lab cleaned uup by LBTO

Procedure

• For each rotatory stage, PI116.DGH:
  • put 2 drops of Rodorsil 47V500 oil on the shaft of the filter wheels, without dismounting anything. Make the mirror rotate completely a few times so that the oil distributes on the whole shaft.
  • leave the C-RED2 ND filter wheel as last since it requires dismounting the folding mirror and the lens.

• Re-align tilt of both SCI filter wheels to eliminate ghosts from flat field images.
• Install barometric pressure gauge (details to be added)
• clean the optical bench

Success criteria

• All activities successfully completed and tested the proper functioning,
