P3.10 NCPA working and performance
- Phase : 3
- Status : Draft
- Category : Nighttime testing (functionality and operability) (C4)
- Recurrence : once at commissioning
- Duration : 12 hours
Description
- Evaluate the NCPA working and performance using the baseline approach, phase-diversity approach, combination of both, and measurement of NCPA using the Wollaston prison & dual-band imaging.
Prerequisites
- Atmospheric conditions: ?
- Authorize SHARK-NIR on the SX side.
- AO working.
- Target(s) at different Zenith distances with different magnitudes?
Procedure
- Acquire star of given magnitude. Start SOUL-AO.
- Check the working and performance of the NCPA baseline approach. Take images at SCICAM.
- Check the phase diversity approach (using the internal calibration source). Take images at SCICAM.
- Check the phase diversity approach using Wollaston prism + DI-DBI. Take images at SCICAM.
- Repeat for a different star (of different magnitudes and for different elevation of the telescope)
Success criteria
