P2.0B Installation of SHARK-NIR electronics on LBT platform

Description

• Installation of the electronics in the cabinets, cabling, and confirming the safety & security of the instrument and area.

Prerequisites

• SHARK-NIR (main parts) are installed on the LBTO platform (activity P2.0A).

Procedure

• Look at the AD4 document for the procedure and details.

Success criteria

• SHARK-NIR electronics are successfully installed in the cabinets.
• Connect all the cables and secure them.
• Reassure all the connections, nuts, bolts, etc.
• Confirm the safety and security of the instrument and the area.

Notes

• Note that one (or two) rack(s) of the SHARK-NIR electronics are installed within the LBTO electronics cabinets (shared with LBTI and iLocater).
• Input from Laura Funk (LBTO): Installation of the LBT work platform takes around 2 hours and of course also its removal. If the telescope installation is performed during the observing semester, carefully plan activities that can be completed so as not to interfere with handover for nighttime observations (~2 hours before sunset).
