P1.9 Science detector calibrations

  • Phase : 1
  • Status : Draft
  • Category : Installation, integration, verification (C1)
  • Recurrence : once
  • Duration : 6 hour(s)

Description

  • Calibration of the SHARK-NIR science detector: Gain, bad pixels, read noise, linearity, dark current, flat field, cross-talk, persistence, pattern noise.

Prerequisites

  • SHARK-NIR connected to LBT network.
  • Electronics cabinets on.
  • The cryostat should be running and cooled down.
  • Internal alignment of the SHARK-NIR is verified.

Procedure

  • check linearity, create bad pixel mask, bias calibration, master dark, and then perform the following daytime calibration procedures below.
