P1.6 Cool down the cryostat

Description

• Cooldown the cryostat.

Prerequisites

• SHARK-NIR connected to LBT network.
• Electronics cabinets on.
• Needs vacuum pumping at the beginning (vacuum pressure of 10e-5 is good, but the required amount is 10e-3 only.)
• Liquid nitrogen pumped?

Procedure

• Run the cryostat cooling down sequence
• Check how the system is performing every 30 minutes

Success criteria

• Cryostat cooled down without any issues.
• The temperature at the detector is stable at 77K

Notes

LBTO support

• Liquid Nitrogen refill. Note that we do not mention Liquid Nitrogen refills in any other place. This has to be done periodically every 24 hours.
