Description

• In case, the internal alignment verification (P1.10) points in the direction of misalignments, the SHARK-NIR needs to be re-aligned.

Prerequisites

• SHARK-NIR is connected to the LBT network.
• Electronics cabinets on.
• The cryostat should be running and cooled down.
• Access to the clean tent.

Success criteria

• Perform P1.10 again after the re-alignment, and make sure the optical quality is within specifications.

Notes

• The actual number of days for this activity cannot be specified at this point. It could be between 1 day to a maximum of 6 days (TBC).

LBTO support

• Liquid Nitrogen refill is required in the cleanroom.
• We will need lights ON and OFF during the re-alignment of the instrument inside the cleanroom.
• 4D interferometer (TBC).
• Access to the clean tent.
