P3.11 Ghost positions on the SCICAM

Description

• Locate the ghost positions at the SCICAM for on-axis and off-axis sources.

Prerequisites

• Atmospheric conditions: photometric.
• Authorize SHARK-NIR on the SX side.
• Bright stars as targets.
• AO working.

Procedure

• Center the bright star (on-axis) and for varying observing conditions, obtain short and long-exposure images to locate the ghosts/features at the SCICAM.
• Repeat this for every science filter.
• Repeat the above two which has one (or more) bright stars off-axis as well.
• Separate the ghosts from the filter defects if any (previously located/known).
