== P2.8 Science detector calibrations and total check up == • **Phase** : 2 • **Status** : Draft • **Category** : Daytime testing (functionality and operability) (C3) + Daytime calibration (C4) • **Recurrence** : once at commissioning • **Duration** : 1 day **Description** • After the installation of the SHARK-NIR at the LBT platform, the science detector is tested for all its read-out modes, windowing possibilities. Also, some of the calibration scripts are rechecked. **Prerequisites** • SCICAM cooled down. **Procedure** • Repeat the science calibrations below (some of these are performed when SHARK-NIR was in the LBT cleanroom. Check [wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/P1.11 P1.11]) for details. ||SDC1||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC1 Instrumental background for science]|| ||SDC2||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC2 Instrument flat field, detector linearity and bad pixels]|| ||SDC3||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC3 Wavelength calibration]|| ||SDC4||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC4 Thermal background]|| ||SDC5||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC5 Detector gain]|| ||SDC6||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC6 Detector persistence]|| ||SDC7||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC7 Spectral resolution]|| ||SDC8||[wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/SDC8 Ghost calibration]|| **Success criteria** • All calibrations successfully tested. * All the read-out modes and windowing possibilities of the SCICAM are tested successfully. * All relevant information (files) are saved in the repository. **Notes** • The time dedicated to this activity has to be considered in combination with other activities. Parallelism is possible. **LBTO support** **Associated SHARK-NIR personnel** **Date performed and by whom** **Comments**
