     1 == P2.8        Looking for filter defects/effects/features ==

     6•       **Duration**            :       2 days
    77**Description**
8 •       This activity corresponds to the flexure tests for the SHARK-NIR.
8•       Finding the filter defects/effects/features using different lamps within the instrument.
9•       If required, this may be repeated for on-axis source from RR for selected or all filters while the AO loop is running (daytime)
    910**Prerequisites**
1011•       If relevant, estimate and remove the NCPA using phase-diversity method.
1112•       RR mounted on SX side.
    1213**Procedure**
13 •       Test the positions of the various opto-mechanical components within the instrument using optical feedback while moving the telescope in elevation.
14 •       Change the velocity and acceleration of the movement of the telescope in elevation if required.
15 •       Remember to perform the tests for all the observing modes (whatever possible with RR or internal light sources)
16 •       You may want to disentangle the flexure of the RR while moving the telescope in elevation by comparing the optical feedback for the same movement with the internal light source.
17 •       This test will also test the working of the LBTO AO system while the telescope is moving in elevation.
18 •       Compare the results with that of Padova flexure tests.
14•       Take the images of all the filters using different lamps within the instrument to locate/find out the filter effects/defects/features.
15•       You may take short- and long-exposures to get better contrast of the features if required.
16•       This may be repeated with the on-axis source from the RR with AO running to check for any extra features arriving from outside SHARK-NIR but from LBT mirrors or the deployable arm.
17•       Repeat the science calibrations as done in [wiki:/docs/CommissioningPlan/P1.9 P1.9].
18* Perform the working of this monitoring activity [wiki:/docs/Commissioning/SNM1 Filter wheels reproducibility monitoring.]
     19
    1920**Success criteria**
20 •       All the images and data are saved for analysis or to create the lookup table.
21•       All the filter images saved.
    2122**Notes**
22 •       If the test results are not satisfactory, this activity may be repeated again after making proper countermeasures to reduce the flexure.
23•       The time dedicated to this activity has to be considered in combination with the next activity, if needed. Parallelism is possible.
    2324**LBTO support**
2425* Authorize SHARK-NIR on SX side.
25 * RR will be required on the SX side.
26* RR mounted on the SX side.
2627* Support from LBT SW Team, LBTI/Arcetri team to run SOUL AO
