**Description**
•	Activating the instrument after the installation of SHARK-NIR at the telescope platform. Also, the shutdown procedure will be checked.
**Prerequisites**
•	SHARK-NIR installed on the LBT telescope platform.
**Procedure**
•	Switch on all the cabinets, follow the instrument telemetry and see if the telemetry is logging.
•	Turn on all the hardware subsystems turned on and start all the corresponding services. Check all the logs from the services.
•	Check the shutdown procedure (except the cryostat warm-up).
•	Testing the electronics and SW rotation of the knob controlling the cool down process (LBTI side.)
•	Cool down the cryostat 
**Success criteria**
•	Activating instrument successfully.
•	All systems turned on and the services all running without any errors.
* The shutdown procedure is checked and working as it should be.
•	Cryostat cooling started and on-track.
