P2.0A Installation of SHARK-NIR on LBT platform

Description

• Aligned SHARK-NIR is prepared for the Big-Lift and installed on the LBT platform.

Prerequisites

• SHARK-NIR is aligned and ready for the lift-off.

Procedure

• Look at the AD3 document for the procedure and details.

Success criteria

• SHARK-NIR is successfully installed at the LBT platform.
• Telescope is balanced.
• Connect all the cables and secure them.
• Reassure all the connections, nuts, bolts, etc.

Notes

• Note that SHARK-NIR is NOT installed as a single piece. The cryostat has to be disassembled from the bearing before the installation can start. Please look into the AD3 document for details.
• Input from Laura Funk (LBTO): Installation of the LBT platform takes around 4 hours and of course also its removal.

• Crew members' support for the preparation, lift-off, and installation of SHARK-NIR
• Crane operator (cleanroom, mountain bay, LBT platform)
• Safety officer
• Working platform installed in front of the Gregorian focal-station SX
• Hatch door SX on the UIAP platform removed
