P1.7 Verification of the operability of the motors and light sources
- Phase : 1
- Status : Draft
- Category : Unpack, Assemble, Verification, and Installation (C1)
- Recurrence : once
- Duration : half a day
Description
- Checking the working of motors and light sources within SHARK-NIR
Prerequisites
- SHARK-NIR connected to LBT network.
- Electronics cabinets on.
- The cryostat should be running and cooled down.
Procedure
- When the services are up and running, after the motors are homed, each of the individual motors is individually tested for their different named/nominal positions.
- The light sources within SHARK-NIR may be used simultaneously to check the working of the motors looking at the optical feedback.
Success criteria
- All the motors can reach their software limits, named positions / nominal positions.
- All the light sources are working and confirmed through optical feedback at the SCICAM.
Notes LBTO support Associated SHARK-NIR personnel
Date performed and by whom
Comments
MB: reaching limit switches/named/nominal positions could be part of P1.5, as well as switching on and off of the lamps. I would add to 1.5 also testing the commands to C-red2 and DM are sent without errors. Here we should just check by optical feedback if everything is performing as expected. When you say electronic cabinet on, you mean single electronics.
